2017 Summer Art Camp - INTENSIVE 13 Camp Enrollment


Intensive 13 is an intensive art program for 13 year old children . This is a special 13year old only program that was developed for children who have previously attended Allens Lane Art Center's Summer Art Camp as a camper but would like to continue their camp experience in this new program.


If your child did not attend our camp, there is still a possiblity that they can attend this program but they will have to go through an interview process and/or possibly an audition. To arrange for an interview/audition, please email us directly at and include your contact information so that we can arrange a meeting. New Campers applying to this program must have a background or education in some form of the arts.


This brand new program (for 2017) is a mix of advance classes mixed in with pre-apprenticeship duties. All Intensive 13 Campers will be solely in Track Classes and specialty classes/workshops that pertain to their pre-apprenticeship duties. All Intensive 13 participants are allowed to perform in the play. Also if the I-13 participant successfully completes the program they are eligible return as a counselor the following year.

Definitions of Track and Pre-Apprenticeship
Track classes are more advanced visual, performing and technical art classes that are classes several steps above the basic classes offered to the rank and file campers.

Pre-Apprenticeship is a combination of on-the-job training and related instruction in which workers learn the practical and theoretical aspects of the arts. Each of the Intensive 13 participants will be assigned a mentor(s) out of the Specialist and/or Teaching Senior Counselor and will work closely with that or those individuals.

By Form: Please fill out the form below to submit your camp registration. Please fill out this form seperately for each camper. Each camper must be registered seperately. After you submit this form, you will see a link to register additional campers. You will also automatically receive an email confirmation of our registration that will also include these important links. Please keep this email for your records. If you are having trouble with this online form, please call us at 215-248-0546 and we will help you make your registration. This form does not automatically make charges to your credit card. Someone in our office will double-check your registration information before any charges are placed.

Please note that due to the nature of our final weeks theater performances that the children work towards, we do not accept registrations for children wishing to attend only the final two weeks of camp. Children who register for any weeks prior may extend their stay if space within the camp allows.
Fee Chart

Intensive13's weekly cost is $325 per week for up 5 weeks. For campers enrolling for 6 or more weeks, the weekly rate drops to $300. There are no discounts for early registration. As this is a pilot program, we will only be running this program if we get at least 5 enrollees. Your credit card won't be charged until we reach this enrollment minimum and we will then contact you to confirm your registration before we run a charge on your card.

Pre-Camp $250/wk or $50/day
AM Option $45/wk or $10/day
PM Option $90/wk or $20/day
The late fee for picking up your child after 6:00pm is $10 for every 5 minutes you are late in picking up your child after 6:00pm.
Costumes There is an additional $25 costume fee for those campers who will participate in our final week theater production. This fee is to be paid directly to the camp office at the beginning of week 5.
Additional Discounts for Intensive 13 program
(slightly different from regular camp enrollments)

Take an additional $150 off the total registration of a second camper from the same household. Separate registrations are required for each additional camper. Once you submit your first camper, you will be presented with a link to make an additional registration. This discount is only applied to the second registration. You must have at least a 2 week registration for both campers to receive this discount.

Take an additional $25 off the total registration campers who have a parent/guardian in active military duty. You must have at least a 2 week registration to receive this discount.
