ART AND CERAMIC HOLIDAY SALE

Mark your calendar for Sat. Dec. 5th and Sun. Dec. 6 from 10am - 4pm for our Winter Art and Ceramic Sale. Shop for plenty of great gifts for the holidays while supporting the Center and its artists. A wide variety of artists (students and faculty) will be selling affordable and unique wares both inside the studios at the Center and out (weather permitting). Paintings, ceramics, pottery, sculpture and even artwork from our Vision Thru Art program (for blind and visually-impaired artists).
The Spring Sale will be on Sat. April 30 and Sun. May 1, 2016.
MEET THE ARTIST This Friday - 11/27/15
Come meet the artist Robert Hansen from 10am - 2pm in our gallery. He will be available to speak with everyone about his current exhibition in our Carolyn and Howard Alber Gallery.
Take a look at our new line-up of classes for the fall. We've got new classes in Dance, Theater and Visual Arts. A wide vareity of classes for children, teens and adults. Click on the link to learn about each class. You can even register online for a class on our secure registration page.
Our Summer Art Camp includes painting, drawing, ceramics, crafts, dance, theater, music, field trips, games, sports, activities, swimming, and a whole lot of fun! Come for just one week or stay for all 8. Campers who stay until the last week will participate in our all-kids theater production for family and friends and is sure to be one of the highlights of your summer.

Allens Lane Theater
Our theater is in need of ushers for our next theater production of Eric Bogosian's Talk Radio - Directed by Mariangela Saavedra. We are in need of at least 2 ushers for each performance. Volunteers should expect to arrive no later than 6:45pm for Friday and Saturday performances and 12:45pm for Sunday performances. Attire: Business Casual. We are in need of ushers for the following dates: Feb. 26, 27, 28 Mar. 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13
Volunteer ushers are asked to report to Lisa in the box office for your assignment and training. Once the play begins, volunteers are invited to stay for the performance (for free). The Carolyn and Howard Alber Gallery
The gallery will be hosting its next cocktail reception for a new exhibition of artworks by local artist Robert Hansen on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015 from 7 - 9pm and is in need of volunteers to help with a variety of jobs. We need several volunteers to help as greeters/check-in assistants, bartenders and bartender/food assistants. Volunteers would need to arrive no later than 6pm and should expect to stay until 10pm. Technology Volunteer wanted for short-term project
Allens Lane Art Center is searching for a technology volunteer to help re-code a small number of form pages. Because of SSL security updates, we need to upgrade our form pages. The content and fields of the forms are not changing. We are just in need of someone who can volunteer their time to help us make this switch. For a person with good coding skills, this should only take a couple of days.
